Spring 2025 Workshops

What: Join us as uNSIDP Chair, Dr. Stephanie White, will lead this workshop on how to create a scientific poster. Students enrolled in NEUROSC 199A/B or 198A/B are highly encouraged to attend to prepare for the Neuroscience Poster Day. All other students in the neuroscience major/minor are welcome to attend.

What: Have you faced imposter syndrome at any point during your time at UCLA? These feelings may commonly arise from the pressures associated with being a student the Life Sciences and/or on the pre-med/pre-health track. Please join us as we partner with RISE to learn about ways of combatting imposter syndrome to support you in the rest of your college experience and beyond.

What: Join us for a workshop on the neuroscience major capstone options (lab methods, independent research, Project Brainstorm, & DOPA-Team) and a review of the enrollment process for departmental research contracts (NEUROSC 199A/198A)!

What: Learn tips for a successful transition into the upper division major courses and how to get involved in research, student organizations, and other outreach opportunities in the neuroscience program.
