Yes, it is possible to study abroad as a Neuroscience major!

When to go? Summer (see below) or Fall Quarter of your 4th year

What should you get done? Save some College requirements like GEs or foreign language. It's not likely that you will get anything done from your Neuroscience requirements. If you have a minor or double major, you should see the department counselor for more information. It's also possible to schedule your classes so that you can just go abroad without worrying about completing anything but the units! Be sure to start planning early with a counselor.

Other UCs - Why go through a UC program? It's going to be MUCH easier to transfer the classes, receive course credit, and are scheduled according to the quarter system! Many semester summer programs do not work well with the fact that UCLA Spring Quarter finals are in the 2nd week of June.
